Josh Heims
Joshua Heims is a Registered Representative with NEXT Financial Group in Williamsville , New York . Prior to a career in financial services, Josh was the President of a multi-million dollar wholesale seafood distributor in Buffalo , New York . He was also owner of a restaurant in downtown Buffalo .
Josh started his financial career with American Express Financial Advisors as a Corporate Advisor in Williamsville , New York .
Josh then transitioned from the corporate ranks to become an Associate Financial Advisor with an independent franchised practice of American Express in Williamsville. While concentrating as a full service financial planner, Josh was also responsible for all of the mutual fund and stock analysis in the practice. Josh also helped establish the trading desk and was responsible for day to day management of all trading activity.
After acquiring a sizable base of clients, Josh wanted to be able to better diversify those clients by moving them to a completely independent firm, offering a much broader range of investments. This is when Josh joined The Financial Forum and NEXT Financial Group. At NEXT, Josh has maintained his concentration as a full service financial planner. Josh also specializes in Long Term Care Insurance as a fully licensed representative for the NYS Partnership Program.
Josh is a standing member and former board member of the FPA (Financial Planning Association) as well as a standing member of the WNY Venture Capital Association.
